if so, might a few of those stations be interested in keeping it going?

I know! Isn't he #1 in Sac, LV, Reno, and Seattle? I know JS doesn't care about these markets, but maybe JS is gonna be out of a job too (fingers crossed)

Ya know, they keep aknowledging that HIS numbers are ok, it's the station in general that's gone downhill... why not keep a morning show? Hell I can't think if a single station in the Bay Area that actually plays music in the morning.

There's a bright side and you of all people need to start pushing it. Adam now has the opportunity to reset and go do something more along the lines of his interest with more freedom than having Shithead Silver telling him what he can or cannot do and sabotaging him at every turn.

Wow, I know I'm a little slow but I just heard the podcast and as soon as I heard Rachel's call this morning, I got a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach and couldn't move for a while I was so stunned. Adam has gotten me through countless days at work and, while I agree that the show definitely isn't at its peak, I still consider it the best show on the radio, and it was a shining beacon of light in this horrible economy that seemed impervious up until now.

Adam will be fine financially... there's no need to worry about that. He's a man that seems almost addicted to having as many projects going on at once as possible and we might actually be more depressed about this than he is himself. I just hope that he returns to radio in some form because that is by far what he does best. The Hammer was fine, but I can't imagine a serious acting career for him. It would be a complete waste of his wit. He is a creator, not an imitator. RIP ACS and best of luck on the new adventures awaiting Adam, Teresa, and Bryan. Wherever you decide to go, I will follow you.

I maintain: keep the faith here people. TACS may well survive in its current iteration, but may be broadcast via a different medium.

We should give the guy the benefit of the doubt, and wait for the entirety of his announcement tomorrow.

Circumstantial evidence:
- In response to Mary's call this morning: [paraphrasing here]"You'll be able to find me, and you'll find me on the webcast." Does webcast = podcast? Does webcast = internet radio? We'll see.
- Merc seems remarkably unfazed by this. Has he been jobhunting now for a few weeks, or will the entire production staff remain involved in a slimmed-down show for internet ears only?
- CBS isn't really in a position to be throwing money at year long contracts that only buy 1.6 months of work.

This is a man that has woken us up every day with the request, nay, DEMAND that we get it on. I'm willing to hear him out on how we might do so.
