TACS is CANCELLED after this week, end of an era

How can the best show on air get canceled, I'm losing my faith in society when the best even go under. Adam you rock, I am able to listen to the radio at work and I even work at an earlier time than I need to so I can listen to more of your show.

Without Adam or 103.1 my carpool commute will be a dismal journey. Looking forward to the podcasts I suppose. Off to read this thread and see if there is more info regarding them as I only listened to about an hour of the show this morning. Today's podcast up now please powers that be.

This thread has had 30k views in less than 48hrs, you mean to tell me they can't get 30k paying subscribers?

I know they are all not unique views but its only been 30hrs or so, 30k subscribers is all Adam needs to make close to his current ACS salary, at a low price point why wouldn't 250k or possibly 1million subscribers be possible.

Horrible news!!!!!!! I am so seriously bummed out.

Also, keep in mind that if enough people download the podcast, it would be easier to sell advertising on it. If Leo Laporte's (Techguy) podcasts can generate $250,000 per year in ad revenue, Adam is capable of making more as long as he gets his loyal fanbase to follow.

I wasn't disparaging T to offend her. I was defending the "T-haters" and explaining why no sane person would think twice of doing so given T's behavior in the past. Apparently that miffed some people posting their good byes in the wrong thread, which led to them bluntly shitting on my peers.

Anyway... everyone email, sternshow@howardstern.com, and tell them you want Adam. Stern has a lot of pull and can get him back on the air ways as early as Monday. You can stream for a couple bucks a month on Sirius.com and soon there will be an iphone app which you can stream the show with.
