I'm really sad, but appreciative of the cosmic irony at play here. See, back in 2004, I was in high school. I had to listen in computer class to what other kids played on their comps. They played in a constant stream the song "It's getting hot in here", over and over, day after day. White kids trying to be hip, that's all it was. And it repulsed me. That stupid song with the stupid "Err-eee err-eee, ree-ee-eer-eee" beat. I couldn't stand it.

I escaped that hell hole by listening to Loveline at night. All that stress went away. Here was a guy named Adam and a Dr. who could tell you why people were dumb with wit and science, respectfully.

Now the first thing I hear playing on the station that hosted Adam? "Err-eee err-eee, ree-ee-eer-eee".

Jesus Christ.

Wow this is unreal and very strange for us. I have been off sick from work for the last 3 weeks, so I haven't listened to the show in that time. We were with Dag tonight, Friday, at the Tempe Improv and I asked him,"Hey, how's Carolla?" He turned to me and said, "His show was cancelled today, the station changed formats!"

Needless to say, the wife and I were floored! So here I am.

Today was a sad day...although I know Adams voice will carry on. There are many intelligent people with open minds and ears to listen. Adam...keep thinking and keep talking...we got your back. Miss the show already...music will never sound as sweet on weekday mornings...ever......

As a long time fan I have to say that the past three years on FM Radio have been the most satisfying for me - you let loose your rage upon LA, and you nailed it good!!!!

Was that really easier than just typing "Yeah"?

This is such crap. I got into my car around 8:00 last night turned on the engine and was floored to hear Pink on 97.1. I don't know why as I was well aware of the format change, but to hear it was such a shock. It really hit me how much I rely on Adam and the rest for my drives, even that God awful Tom Leykis. Adam being gone is more awful than I realized but last night I realized that yes I do actually like FHF, I had always thought that they were just pleasant talk on my errands, but I was wrong, they were fun. Geez what am I writing?? I am going to keep up on Adam of course but the rest will probably be off the radar and definitely as a format. I miss Tim Conway Jr!!! But of course mostly Adam. Damn Shame.

Strangely the station sounds like it like lost some of it's frequency. It sounds sort of far away. Who on Earth is going to listen to low sounding top 40??

This show has been absolutely amazing and made it worth waking up early just to hear the show. I can't wait for the pocasts!
