A smug douche whose brand of humor relied on name-dropping d-list celebrities and his "morning zoo crew" laughing over their own stale jokes wasn't exactly a great fit for an alt-rock station. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Thank god for the economic downturn. Radio stations are finally realizing people would rather listen to music than jabbering overpaid "celebrity" dj's.

Well today is the last days of the ACS replays here in Portland. Tomorrow I'm stuck with someone named Rick Emerson? While I'm in the car at least.

shows not going anywhere, why would they bother with the webcast stuff if they knew they were going under. Nobody would give an eff about starting or approve the money for a webcasting unless the show were continuing and a bummed out show staffer would have spilled the beans by now if they were shutting down. The station might flip but TACS will stick around. Remember, just because 1780's guy wants the show to be dead doesn't make it so.

Every morning radio program in Portland now offically sucks. It is really awful to have that kind of shock. At least we knew when the stern show was going away.

I actually don't know what a podcast is -- technologically inept. Perhaps that is the problem, anybody worth anything won't stay on these stations. Thank you for the suggestions. I'm still grieving and wallowing in new issues as a result of being so suddenly cut off. Radio stations are so disrespectful in that way.
