South Park is one of the best shows on television. You're a moron. This is not me coming to the defense of the other guy, but simply saying that you're a moron. |

Simply stated, you need to vastly expand your tv horizons if you think a crudely-drawn "cartoon" is one of the best shows on television. And calling it a "cartoon' was greatly giving it the benefit of the doubt. The animation, when I last saw it 5-7 years ago, looked like an one-armed 8-year old with Down's syndrome did it. And the writing was on par with that as well. Are they still doing the hi-lariously funny shit jokes? Boy....talk about laugh out loud!! Gimmie one large f'ing break. "Adult cartoons" are f'ing lame and idiotic. Every last one of them. |

So your issue with South Park is that the animation quality isn't very good? That's what makes for a good comedy?
Each episode of South Park is funny AND relevant to current events. This post has been edited by elsqueak0 on November 09, 2009 07:40 pm |

This guy sounded like a semi-retarded, flaming gay douchebag. I'm guessing his "stunts" aren't nearly as funny/entertaining/revealing as he seems to think they are. I hated this guy from about minute 4.

DITTO! I imagined myself sitting in the audience going: "I didn't realize the head of Texaco was gay"! Total ass-clown. -------------------- ![]() |

I thought so too.. I fucking loved it when Adam, within the first few minutes of the podcast, basically negated this guy's entire point by saying "Most people in meetings or conferences or whatever just nod their head regardless of what's going on because they want to get the fuck out of there." That's completely true... I've been in a ton of meetings and at a ton of conferences where some boring assholes could have come in and tried to sell something ridiculous, and I would have just sat there and yawned and been like "When the fuck are we gonna break, I need to hit the complimentary snack cart for some danish..." I mean, the audiences this guy is pranking are all affluent business people, what does he really expect them to do? Start throwing their monocles at the stage in protest? -------------------- ![]() |

Maybe you guys should actually SEE their work before drawing conclusions based on a half-hour sit-down.

Simon Says.... the truth!
Seriously, when there is a guy with a massive dong-suit on with a TV at the end of the dong that you use to monitor sweat shops, it's not something you ignore. -------------------- #1 UK FanArolla. "FYI? FUI!" ACP 20-Nov-09

The Yes Men is available on Hulu right now. It's a bit more interesting than this podcast. Culture jamming is something I'd think would go over well with you guys. Some of it is really funny. Worth a watch for free.

Bitchlbomb is the worst. If he thinks that big corporations are ruining the world, then he should take another look at history and see that big government (Nazi fascists and every communist government) has cost the world more lives, health and wealth than any of the "capitalist pigs" he says are hurting our country. Accountability and competition are the enemy in his upside-down world, when in fact, these are the drivers of human motivation and accomplishment!
Adam, from every rant you have ever yelled about communism, I know you don't agree with this guy. Wish you weren't agreeing just to be agreeable. |
