Finalyl listened to it and...........ehhh. I realy wasn't digging it. I actually love movie talk but this was really boring once you got over who was doing it. Anderson really needs to stay off the radio, he is so fucking untalented unless he is pushing a button whereas Brian is actually listnenable.

I agree. I liked Bryan and thought Anderson was super annoying. Kid tries way too hard bragging about drinking and doing blow. Also they both talked over each other the whole time and seemed like they were trying to fit in too many words a minute making up for all those radio hours logged being silent.

I listened to the March 9th show and I have to agree about Anderson's behavior he was almost unpleasant to listen to.

I listened to this mornings replay of last weeks show and it was much better the flow was better and Anderson wasn't being such a dick.

I will keep listening though, Anderson used to always brag about coke whenever anyone would mention drugs on Loveline, Adam would accuse him of smoking weed and he would deny smoking but admit to doing blow.
I don't know if this is true or some sort of running joke.

Listen to this weeks show and see if you like it better, I think the mar 09 show was just an off day.

I was really looking forward to listening to the show on the stream today but it's not working, could you possibly get tonight's show or any other episodes.

The Free2HD stream is silent, must be a tech problem.

Unless of course you record from the stream, if so any old episodes will do.

I do want to commend Bishop for putting the show together. I'm sure it is not an easy thing to do. I'm sure that a lot of the flow issues will be cleared up the more they do the show. And, Anderson is...Anderson, but I don't think he is all that bad.
But here are my issues with the show.
First, the Top 5. Ok, I get it that it is a good way to provide instant structure and content to a show, but this is a rip off of Filmspotting, which is the best movie talk show online. I know that they lifted the idea from High Fidelity, but they have been doing this feature for 3 years and over 200 shows and Bish and Anderson doing it feels like a lazy rip off.
Second, If you are going to do a film talk show, don't come across as uninformed. I am glad that they included Lone Star in their discussion, it is a great movie. But in an off hand Bish commented that John Sayles has done Lone Star, Eight Men Out... and nothing else. Ummm John Sayles has directed 19 movies. Now those two may be his most well known, but that kind of comment sounds ignorant of film in general. If you want to sound like someone I should listen to, act like an authority on the subject.
Also don't complain about the length of films, If you want to come across as professional, deal with the fact that some moves are long, and Lone Star isn't even that long, it is 135 minutes. Now if you have a valid reason for hating the length (ie. the fact that all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies were excessively long and boring, without any justification in the plot, then fine).
Ok, sorry for the ranting. I did enjoy the show. I though playing the bit form Storytelling was hilarious.

I want to hear about film by 2 of these types of guys at this kind of pace. I really liked it. Good god damn times.
